Women’s Artistic-Level 3 I joined the club as a Gymnast at the age of 5 and am now 26 so I have seen the club grow and change throughout the years! I was a recreational gymnast and although entered a few schools competitions I didn’t ever make it into Competitive Gym. My coach at the time Mr C encouraged me to give coaching a try to share my enthusiasm and experiences of the sport with others, so here I am! Gymnastics is a tough sport both mentally and physically but is also lots of fun. It is very rewarding for coach and gymnast when a new skill is mastered or a fear is overcome whatever level this may be at! The club is a huge part of my life and I currently run an after school club at a local primary school to give more children the opportunity to get involved in Gymnastics. |

Sports Acro and Tumble-Level 3 / Volunteer Coach Co-ordinator I started coaching about 9 years ago as a hobby. My daughter Laura was training every evening and so I decided to help out. I am now a qualified Club Coach for both Sports Acro and Tumble. My favourite discipline to coach is Tumble because of the power and dynamics involved. I also enjoy the element of team work in Sports Acro. I coach some week day sessions and the occasional Saturday recreational session. Coaching is a great way to keep yourself fit and work with the local community to keep youngsters fit and healthy. I have also just qualified as a Sports Acro judge. |

Women’s Artistic-Level 2 / Trampoline Coach I became a gymnast at the age of 5 when my school teacher Mr C asked me to come along to the club for a taster session. I started competing at the age of 7. My biggest achievements were; Level 4 County Champion aged 10, Level 4 Team Champions aged 12, British Championship Tumbling Reserve. I got involved with coaching at the age of 15 when injuries put a hold on my career. My aim as a coach is to get gymnasts competing to the best of their ability but most of all ensure they are enjoying the sport and the benefits gymnastics brings. |

Women's Artistic-Level 2 / Sports Acro and Tumble-Level 3 I started Gymnastics when I was six. I entered many competitions in Artistic Gymnastics and later became a Tumbler at which I achieved my full potential and attended the British Tumbling Championships 7 years in a row! Winning 1 bronze medal, 2 silver and 1 gold. I began coaching at 14 and find it very rewarding that I can pass on my knowledge and experiences to gymnasts today. |

Women’s Artistic-Level 1 I started coaching about 10 years ago. My daughter had been a gymnast since the age of 7 and her coach asked me to give it a go. I had always enjoyed going to competitions to watch so I went on a coaching course, which seems like a lifetime ago!
I enjoy coaching because it is nice to see the children doing something they enjoy and hopefully keeping fit at the same time. |

Women's Artistic Level 1 I have been an active member of the club since I was 9. I have trained in the women's artistic squad for many years; achieving regional champion 2 years running. I have also completed in an acro competition and achieved 5th place with my trio. I have completed my level 1 coaching course and coach on a Tuesday and Thursday at the gym. I have completed the course to allow me to teach others whats I have learnt over the years |

Women’s Artistic-Level 1 I was persuaded by my youngest daughters coach Laura F to come in and help out, both of my daughters are keen gymnasts so it made sense for me to become part of the club too. I have achieved my level 1 qualification and really enjoy coaching, it can be quite physical which has really helped with my own fitness and is very different to my day job as a playgroup assistant. We have some really great characters at the gym and the children can really make me smile. I now just need to find time to fit my level 2 course in! |

Sports Acro and Tumble-Level 1 I have been doing gym for 14 years myself and was asked if I would like to start coaching by one of the senior coaches. As a gymnast myself I have won around 40 medals and 2 trophies. I have competed at National Finals 8 times for the club and as a school gymnast. I would like to pass my knowledge onto younger gymnasts.
I have achieved my level 1 qualification and am due to start my level 2. It is great to see how happy the gymnasts are when they achieve something. Coaching is hard work but we always find time to have some fun too! |

Proficiency Award working towards Level 1 I have been a gymnast for many years and still train and compete myself. I have represented the East Midlands at National Finals both for the club and school. I coach recreational groups on a Saturday mornings and I also coach the junior artistic squad two evenings a week. I have seen some of the children come a long way and enjoy watching them compete - although I do get nervous for them! I have already completed my Proficiency Award course and am about to do my Level 1 coaching course. |

Proficiency Award working towards Level 1 I have been a Gymnast for about 8 years and have represented East Midlands at the National Finals. I still train and compete but my coach asked if I would like to start helping out on a Saturday morning with coaching. I coach some Friday evenings too. The part that I enjoy the most about coaching is teaching the children new moves. After 8 years I still love coming to gym whether this is to train or to coach! |

Working Towards Level 1 I help to introduce the youngest Gymnasts into the sport on a Saturday. I really enjoy coaching and hope the young Gymnasts love Gym as much as I do. |
