As
a Club we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the
well-being of our gymnasts. We believe it is important that
gymnasts, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the
club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the
safety and welfare of others. Please abide by the Club Rules and
encourage others to do the same thus enabling us all to enjoy our
sport.
-
Gymnasts
should arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of their training
session. An adult must bring you into the gym – not leave you in
the car park.
-
Advise
your coach (you can leave a text message on gym mobile 07999590354)
if you cannot attend your session.
-
Ensure
medical requirements are brought to the attention of your coach, and
medication if necessary is brought to gym.
-
Always
inform your coach of any illness or injury before the warm-up
begins.
-
Clothing
should be appropriate – leotards, t-shirt & shorts, tracksuit
etc.
-
Long
hair should be securely tied back.
-
No
jewellery or piercings of any kind should be worn.
-
No
mobile phones should be brought in to the gym – there is a phone
for use in an emergency. If phones are left in the changing room
this is your responsibility.
-
Keep
the gym tidy – leave bags etc in the changing room and remember to
take them home with you at the end of your session.
-
Bring
a drink of water in a plastic bottle and do not bring food into the
gym.
-
Show
respect for other gymnasts, coaches and Club officials.
-
Do
not leave the gym unless accompanied by an appropriate Club
official, Coach or Parent/Guardian.
-
Always
behave in a manner becoming of a gymnast, especially when
representing your club at displays or competitions.
-
Remember
coaches reserve the right to suspend gymnasts for dangerous or
inappropriate behaviour.
