As
a Club we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the
well-being of our gymnasts. We believe it is important that
gymnasts, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the
club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the
safety and welfare of others.
Although
we have an open door policy at the gym please be aware that gymnasts
need to give the coach their full attention.
-
Never
drop your child off in the car park – escort them into gym and do
not leave until the Club Coach is on the premises.
-
Always
collect your child punctually at the end of each session, from the
gym – not the car park.
-
Advise
the coach (you can
send a text to 07999590354) if
your child cannot attend their normal session.
-
Always
ensure your child is dressed appropriately in named kit and brings a
drink of water to each session.
-
Ensure
any medical requirements are brought to the attention of your childs
coach, and medication if necessary is bought to gym.
-
If
you would like to speak to your childs coach please arrange to do so
at the beginning of the session.
-
Remember
that coaches reserve the right to suspend a gymnast for dangerous or
unacceptable behaviour.
-
Endeavour
to establish good communications with the club officials and
coaches.
-
Discourage
challenging or arguing with coaches/officials.
-
Set
good examples by recognising good sportsmanship and applauding the
performances of all.
-
Help
your child to recognise good performance, not just results.
-
Never
force your child to participate in sport.
-
Encourage
your child to learn the club rules and behave accordingly.
-
BG
membership fees are due annually by the 25th
September as the gymnastic year commences 1st
October. If unpaid your child will not be insured and therefore
should not be training.
-
Keep
up to date with your childs fees – these should be paid by the
15th
of each month.
